When we watch La Cenerentola on May 10th, the tenor will be Juan Diego Flórez, the Peruvian bel canto tenor.
I will post more about him later, but what better introduction to this wonderful singer than to hear him singing the duet, “Prendi l’anel ti dono,” from Bellini’s La Sonnambula with the French soprano, Natalie Dessay?
This is one of my favorite moments in opera!
